About us
We are the Web's leading football ticket broker and have been trading within the
secondary ticket market for over 10 years. We specialise in football tickets for
all of the major football club's and competitions in Europe. Please note that
will often pay more than just the "face value" for your tickets. The actual
price that you pay for the ticket is equal to face value, with the additional
costs being our service charge, which reflects our costs and efforts in
obtaining your match seats. Please be aware that the secondary ticket market is
a very volatile and fluctuating market, and therefore ticket prices may vary
wildly at different points in time.
Paying for your tickets
All ticket prices are guaranteed at the time an order is placed, and payment is
received. 100% full payment must be received in order to guarantee a ticket
purchase except by the prior agreement of the management of SecureYourSeat.com.
A confirmation receipt will be issued to you upon full payment being received.
All payments must be made with a valid credit/debit card.
SecureYourSeat.com reserve the right to security check any or all orders placed
through this website. As a standard procedure we would require that a statement
copy for the credit card that was used to purchase the tickets is emailed to us
for verification. Please note that the customers name and address must be
visible on the statement that is sent to us. We would also request that the
first 4 and last 4 digits of the credit card number are also shown. You may of
course black-out all transactions etc, the statement will only be used to verify
the identity of the card holder.
All sales are final
Once an order is placed and paid for, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. Upon
request we will try to resell unwanted tickets and, if successful, refund your
money less a 25% handling fee. We are not responsible for lost or stolen
tickets, and we regret that we cannot under any circumstances issue duplicate
tickets. Please treat your tickets like cash!
The client should note that the right to cancel or "cooling off period" provided
by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations does not apply to the
sale of event tickets. All sales are final.
In the event of cancellation/rescheduling
If a match is cancelled by the organising body (FA, UEFA, etc), we will refund the client in full.
If a match is rescheduled by the organising
body and you cannot attend we will refund the face value of the tickets only or
issue the client with a credit note for the full amount of the ticket purchase. We
do not have any control over these events. We will not be liable for costs of
travel fares, hotels, or any other expenses that may be incurred if a match is
cancelled/rescheduled. It is your responsibility to ensure the match is going
ahead before travelling. We will do our best to inform you if the date has been
changed but the responsibility of checking the fixture dates lies with the
buyer.
Delivery of tickets
We will endeavour to deliver your tickets as soon as possible. Usually, tickets
will be dispatched within 5-7 days of the football match. In some cases, due to
the nature of the business, tickets do not arrive with us until shortly before
the fixture date. This is especially common where the tickets in question are
for a high profile football match. These tickets are held back by the organiser
as a prevention measure against loss of tickets, fraud or counterfeiting of the
tickets. On rare occasions and in extreme circumstances, tickets may not arrive
with us until the date of the match. If the tickets arrive with us too late to
be posted, we will arrange for you to collect your tickets from an allocated
collection point at the venue.
Please note that tickets are only usually shipped to the credit cards registered
billing address. Should you require that the order be shipped to an alternate
address we will require a scanned (not faxed) authorization from you. This
includes a signed copy of the original invoice, along with legible copies of
your driver's license and the credit card that was used. This is done to protect
us both against fraudulent use. Please understand that this will also be
necessary for clients requesting that their tickets are shipped to a hotel,
motel or hostel.
Please note that SecureYourSeat.com are only responsible for your tickets up
until the point where the courier obtains a signature for them at your requested
shipping address. If the tickets are lost or stolen once they have been signed
for at your requested address, SecureYourSeat.com will entertain no claims for
duplicate tickets or refunds. Please note that this policy includes for the
delivery of tickets to a hotel, motel or hostel.
Safe Return of Team/Membership/Season cards
When purchasing football tickets from SecureYourSeat.com you are expressly
agreeing that should you be issued with team/membership/season cards to permit
you entrance to a venue, that you return them to us (using the pre-paid courier
label that we will provide with your tickets) no later than 2 business days
after you have attended the match. You are also agreeing that should the team
cards not arrive back with us in good time to be dispatched to other clients for
the following fixture, that your credit/debit card originally used to purchase
the tickets will be charged for the full amount of the any and all missed game(s).
Please note that we will of course waiver this charge should the team cards of
been posted in good time and that the delay in us receiving the cards back is a
fault of the courier service, as special delivery envelopes are fully traceable
online at all times.
Please note that should the team/membership/season cards not be returned to us
intentionally, that we will report the matter to the authorities as theft, and
issue them with all relevant information to assist them with their prosecution.
Other notes
If your first choice of tickets is not available we reserve the right to upgrade
your seats at no extra cost, downgrade with a partial refund or offer you a
ticket for the same venue/football club on an alternative date. If we are unable
to offer you any of these alternatives we will cancel your order and issue you
with a full refund. As per our buyer guarantee policy, if this does occur you
will also receive a credit note for 20% of the original purchase price, which
may be redeemed against any ticket purchase within the following 12 months. Odd numbers of
tickets cannot be guaranteed to be sat together, but we will do our best.
likewise if more than 4 tickets are purchased, we cannot guarantee that they
will all be located together. For example if 6 tickets were purchased, you may
be issued with one set of 4 tickets located together, and another set of 2
tickets sat together. Please note that we will not divide your ticket purchase
so that you receive 1 ticket sat on it's own.
Lost or stolen tickets cannot be duplicated or refunded. Once again please treat
your tickets like Cash!
