and the sixth on the planet.
They have the most

officially recognised by one
of the six continental football
confederations

FIFA.
Juventus FC was the
first
Italian and Southern
European side to have won
the UEFA Cup. In the year
1985, Juventus became the
first club in the history of
European football to
have won all three major
UEFA
competitions.
Juventus is the club
which
has the biggest fan base in
Italy by far, having also one
of the largest
numbers of supporters
groups world-wide, with a
total of 170 million
Juventus's “tifosi”
throughout the world. The
club is a founder
member of the European
Club
Association.

home fixtures at the Stadio
Olimpico di Torino
whilst the stadium which
the club owns, "Stadio
delle
Alpi” is undergoing
long-term structural
changes. Juventus’ own
stadium will not be completed
for use until approximately
2011.
